Pittsburgh, Pa – Oct 14, 2019 – Pizza Parma has been named one of the best pizza shops in the area by Star 100.7 Pittsburgh. Taking 2nd overall against the likes of Nick’s Pizza in Castle Shannon and Sammy’s Pizza in Westwood, the restaurant towered over others in the Bubba Show Best Pizza in the ‘Burgh competition.
Over 30 pizza shops were evaluated for best taste by a panel of judges including YaJagoff podcast hosts, magician Lee Terbosic and local legend Rick Sebak of WQED. Each shop was judged on the overall taste and quality of their pies. The Top 10 best pizza shops recognized were from all around the Greater Pittsburgh area:
- Gino Brothers in Sharpsburg
- Pizza Parma in Shadyside
- Nick’s Pizza in Castle Shannon
- Big Guys Pizza in Brentwood
- Inferno Pizza in North Huntingdon
- Sammy’s Pizza in Westwood
- Union Pie Company in Carrick
- Antonio’s Pizzeria in Brookline
- Angelo’s Pizza in Bloomfield
- Uptown Kitchen in Uptown
This wasn’t the first time the local pizza giant has received praise for its pies, either. Pizza Parma has 23 Readers’ Choice Awards under its belt, as well as 2013 (winner) and 2015 (3rd place) rankings on the Star 100.7 Pittsburgh list.
