The parade lasts about 15 minutes, so make sure you arrive early. Because penguins like the cold, the event is subject to cancellation if things warm up. But don’t worry, there’s still plenty of other critters to see at the zoo.

Take a short trip down the Parkway East to Boyce Park for all the winter recreation you love. Spanning the border of Plum and Monroeville, Boyce Park offer nearly 1,100 acres of outdoor fun. Wintertime is no exception, and this is the only location for downhill skiing and snowtubing in all of Allegheny County.
